Greater Oklahoma City’s diverse economy is powered by major industries including aerospace, biotechnology, energy and government, providing a strong foundation for continued growth. That momentum is also attracting new residents: Oklahoma ranks among the top 10 states for net migration, with significant population gains from California and Texas, while Oklahoma City was one of only 14 U.S. cities to add more than 100,000 residents between 2010 and 2020.
