The Capital Grille is officially the first national restaurant chain, and second restaurant overall, to open in Oklahoma City's new OAK development.

The restaurant opened Sunday, at 2100 Northwest Expressway, bringing the signature elevated steakhouse experience of the Darden Group to Oklahoma for the first time.

Brian Schwartztrauber, managing partner of OKC's The Capital Grille location, who moved from Scottsdale, Arizona, to run the new restaurant, said the city was chosen because the OAK provides a specific backdrop for the brand to be a part of, plus moving here was an easy choice upon getting to know the city.
