This OKC brewery won top honors at Great American Beer Festival in Denver

Oklahoma City's The Big Friendly, 1737 Spoke St., recently brought home top honors among breweries of its size at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival in Denver.

The Big Friendly won the gold medal and title of Brewery and Brewer of the Year for those producing 251–500 barrels, the highest award an individual brewery can earn based on size at the festival.

The Big Friendly also brought home two additional gold medals for individual beers. These categories are not size-restricted and see breweries of all sizes from across the country compete against one another.
