A contemporary Tex-Mex favorite from the Lone Star State is coming to OAK, the 20-acre mixed-use district under construction at 5101 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Masero has seven locations in the DFW area. This marks Mesero's first location outside its home state of Texas. Mesero joins an impressive lineup of previously announced OAK retailers including RH, Arhaus and Capital Grille.

“We are seeking to create a chef-centric dining district at OAK, with offerings like Mesero that bring extraordinary new flavors to Oklahoma City,” said Ryan McNeill of Veritas Development. “One bite of Mesero’s brisket tacos had me sold on their concept, and I can’t wait for others in our community to experience this unique take on Mexican and Tex-Mex-inspired fare.”

Mesero will occupy a spacious 5,500-square-foot area at OAK, complete with a mezzanine level for outdoor dining and events. The restaurant will offer a menu rich in authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex-inspired fare and craft cocktails, creating a delightful culinary experience.

OAK's first phase includes 135,000 square feet of retail space, a boutique Lively Hotel, 320 upscale apartments and a central greenspace designed to host over 100 community events each year. The project will also incorporate two remarkable art installations: Cloud Trees and Cloud Puncher.

The Lively Hotel boasts a 3,050-square-foot bar and restaurant, an outdoor bar, an activated pool area, fitness facilities and ample meeting space. The ground floor of the hotel will host 13,500 square feet of retail space.

OAK will also include upscale residential units. The apartments feature curated interior finishes, private workspaces, a fitness center, an entertainment suite and a resort-style pool. OAK’s grand opening is scheduled for September 2024.
