First Pollo Campero in state opening

Pollo Campero will open its first restaurant in Oklahoma on Tuesday at 1414 NW 23rd St. in Oklahoma City.

The new fast-casual chicken restaurant is owned by Campero of Oklahoma. The principal owners behind the CityBites Group, which has been operating restaurants in Oklahoma since 1986, worked with Campero of Oklahoma to bring the Pollo Campero concept to Oklahoma City.

“We heard about Pollo Campero for the first time from our own employees,” Mike Woolf, manager of Campero of Oklahoma, wrote in a prepared statement.
