Oklahoma City's The Oil Tree will become the first locally owned business to join OAK, the 20-acre mixed-use district in the heart of Oklahoma City.

The family-owned gourmet shop, founded by Maggie Peterson and known for its ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils, aged balsamic vinegars and artisanal pantry staples, will open on Saturday, July 26, with a grand opening event scheduled to include demo stations, exclusive giveaways, live music and complimentary beverages, with the main festivities happening from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Oil Tree's new location will be its second and can be found in a 1,763-square-foot space fronting OAK’s Heartwood Park.

“Opening our second location at OAK feels like a natural step in our journey to bring honest, flavorful food to Oklahoma City,” Peterson said. “As someone who was raised here, it’s incredibly meaningful to be part of a space that celebrates local businesses and the growth of Oklahoma City. OAK’s atmosphere aligns with our goal to connect people around the table through authentic ingredients and quality artisan goods.”
