$40M Andretti Karting venue to open in Oklahoma City

 will open its first Oklahoma location July 15 at 4 p.m., but 600 guests will be treated to free racing,  and arcade play beginning at 10 a.m.

The 84,000-square-foot family  venue at 8300 Broadway Extension is a $40 million facility that features high-speed electric “super-karts” on three-level tracks, a state-of-the-art arcade, virtual reality experiences, duckpin bowling, a two-level laser tag arena, 7D Xperience motion theater and racing simulators. Visitors also will find a full restaurant, two bars and more than 6,000 square feet of event space.

“We’re really excited, this being the first location in Oklahoma,” , regional director of operations, said. “It’s monstrous. There’s a lot going on when you walk inside.”
