The largest commercial development in more than 30 years is coming to the Adventure District with plans to build a hotel, restaurants, bars, retail and indoor pickleball and volleyball courts.

The development, “Boomtown OKC,” is already under construction and is set to open by late 2024 with the first venue, the indoor and outdoor volleyball courts, set to open next summer.

Andy Burnett, lead developer, said the hotel will be four-stories with about 200 rooms and talks are underway with national retailers for four pad sites. The development began with an idea between Burnett and his friends who play volleyball and teamed up to create a volleyball complex.
