Oklahoma City named one of the best run cities in the U.S.

Oklahoma City was just named the best-run top 50 city in America by WalletHub. Oklahoma City was ranked 11^th overall. The personal finance company compared the nation’s 149 largest cities in six categories.

• Financial experts graded the cities on financial stability, education, health, safety, economy and infrastructure.
• The quality of services score was then measured against the city’s per-capita budget.

The ranking is a strong indicator that Oklahoma City officials have done a good job managing public funds. The MAPS initiatives are a good example of that.
