The authors included not only the "main city" in their analysis but also "the surrounding suburbs, towns, and smaller urban areas," and all types of properties were examined ("from single-family homes to condos and townhomes").
Realtor.com noted the popularity of OKC's suburban areas as well as the fact that our population grew 17% over the past decade, with more than 100,000 moving here, resulting in OKC coming in at #6 among the 25 largest metros in the U.S. for growth rate.
