OKC metro ranks No. 6 nationally for overall housing affordability

  • Among U.S. metros with more than 1 million population, Oklahoma City ranked 6th for the least expensive homes among the largest metros.
  • The Porch.com determined overall housing affordability by examining the extent to which middle-income households face substantial housing challenges.
  • One of the key indicators that housing experts consider when evaluating affordability in the market is the share of households spending at least 30% of their income on housing.
