Oklahoma Ranks No. 3 for Economic Outlook

  • Oklahoma ranked 3rd in the United States for its economic outlook and legislative policies in the 2021 ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index.
  • The state moved up six places from last year’s report.
  • This comprehensive report ranked states by 15 equally weighted policy variables, which are influenced by state lawmakers throughout the legislative process.
