Oklahoma City keeps top-10 unemployment rate

According to the most recent data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Oklahoma City MSA’s unemployment rate improved slightly to 4.7% in January. That rate ranked as the seventh-lowest unemployment rate in the country among metros with more than one million in population. The metro’s unemployment rate was 4.8% for the previous month.

For the same period, the state of Oklahoma reported a 4.3% rate while nationwide unemployment was at 6.3%.
