Oklahoma City unemployment rate continues to fall

For the month of August, the unemployment rate for the Oklahoma City MSA continued to improve with a rate of 3.2 percent. August represents the lowest unemployment rate for the metro in more than a decade.

Oklahoma City had the sixth-lowest unemployment rate among all large metros in the United States. On the state level, unemployment was lower in all 77 Oklahoma counties compared to the previous year. The United States saw an unemployment rate of 3.9 percent in August.
