When it's too hot to grill burgers with ground beef, make hashwa instead

What do you do with all that ground beef when it's too hot to cook burgers on the grill?

Obvious solutions include hiring a contractor to cover the patio, adding a mister or cooking those patties on the asphalt to get the flat-top surface where it flourishes.

Or do what I do and find something different to do with that ground beef.

Burgers on the grill are more romantic than delicious as you lose most of the flavor at the alter over which they were cooked. Cooking inside heats up the kitchen and, unless you have an industrial hood vent, will fill the house with smoke at a time when opening the windows isn't a good option.
