Developer confirms plans for mixed-use district in Oklahoma City

An Austin, Texas, based microbrewery/movie theater just might be on its way to Oklahoma City.

Randy Hogan said his development company is hopeful a contract will be finalized with Flix Brewhouse to anchor a new mixed-use entertainment and business district along Broadway Extension, just south of American Fidelity Assurance Co. and Britton Road.

"The legislative change really paved the way for us to move forward with Flix," Hogan said. "They craft their own beer and we are excited they can anchor the development."

No deal is final until a contract is signed, but Hogan is excited to be moving forward with the development, as well as a potential anchor such as Flix Brewhouse.
