Turkey's had its day; Christmastime is here.

From Film Row to Automobile Alley and Bricktown to Midtown, Oklahoma City is preparing more than a few cups of cheer.

Now in its 16th year, Downtown in December presented by Devon Energy, a series of holiday events coordinated and produced in part by the Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership staff, in collaboration with partner organizations and attractions, is a veritable feast of festivities.

“We like to call it a winter experience that encompasses outdoor ice skating, the tree lighting festival, visits with Santa, a festive holiday 5K, snow tubing, the free holiday Water Taxi rides, all the shows. Then, of course, it's surrounded by all the light displays,” said Riley Cole, events coordinator for the Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership.
