Developers expanding northeast Oklahoma City retail project

The Pivot Project, which previously announced it is working with Oklahoma City Clinic to redevelop a block along NE 23, is set to extend its investment to include another block that will include a mix of restaurants and retail.

The Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority on Wednesday approved a deal to negotiate a sale of the southeast corner of NE 23 and Kelham Avenue, which will give the Pivot Project control of the south side of NE 23 between Kelham and Hood Street.

The partnership, which includes east side businessman Sandino Thompson, also controls the north side of NE 23 between Kehlam and N Rhode Island.
