Major construction complete on Tract 30 at Chisholm Creek development
Fuzzy's Taco Shop will be the first tenant to open its doors in Chisholm Creek's Tract 30 development next week.
Construction is complete on the 80,000-square-foot, mixed-use development near Memorial Road at Western Avenue, and tenants are beginning to build out restaurant and office spaces in the building.
The new Fuzzy's is the brand's latest location in the state and features a full bar, as well as a large patio dining area.
Overlooking TopGolf, the location was ideal for Fuzzy's to expand its presence in the Oklahoma City metro, said Courtney Harp, marketing director for the Fuzzy's brand in Oklahoma.
"Chisholm Creek is a great location for us. We wanted to be located in an entertainment district because we work well in Bricktown and we thought it would be a good fit," Harp said.
Three restaurants will feature expansive patio and rooftop dining areas. Bill Wetterman, partner in the Chisholm Creek development, said he expects the restaurants will add energy to the area and make it an evening destination.
Anchor tenant, Republic Gastropub, will feature three levels of dining, including a rooftop terrace and patio dining.
“All three of these guys are kind of knocking it out of the park with what they are doing,” Wetterman said.
There still are a few spaces yet to be leased for offices or retailers on the second level of the Tract 30 development, but Chisholm Creek developer the Medallion Group expects to have the property fully leased by year's end, said Whitney Rainbolt, spokeswoman for the developer.
