Oklahoma City is getting one of the first next-generation Apple Stores in the country at Penn Square Mall.

The $2.5 million renovation will include a wall-size interactive display screen. Apple said Monday it was not yet ready to share details about the new Oklahoma City store.

However, building plans filed with Oklahoma City show Apple's overhauled Oklahoma City store includes plans for new ceilings, partitions, furniture and finishes, among other improvements at the 7,000-square-foot store.

Documents filed with Oklahoma City put the cost of renovations at $2.5 million. The building plans also show a wall-size video display on the west interior wall of the store.
