A Closer Look at the Steelyard Hotels in Bricktown

NewcrestImage still has another approval to get from the Bricktown Urban Design Committee, but if history is a reliable guide, the third set of plans first published by The Oklahoman this morning are likely to address most of the concerns voiced by the committee last week. The site plans and additional renderings show how the AC Hotel and Hyatt Place are designed, as explained by architects with ADG, to fit a lot of density on a relatively small corner. In their presentation Wednesday to the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority, architects explained cars will be parked to parking lots along Main Street just west of the hotels.
