Rock & Brews sets ribbon cutting

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber will preside over a ribbon cutting for the new Rock & Brews restaurant at 2 p.m. Jan 28 at 2737 W Memorial Road.

KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley co-founded Rock & Brews with restaurateur Michael Zislis and concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano.

The 7,700-square-foot Rock & Brews building originally was occupied by Don Pablo's. Franchise partner Kirk Williams operates the new Oklahoma City Rock & Brews. 

Magazine honors OKC store

Competitor magazine and Running Insight trade magazine name Oklahoma City's Red Coyote Running and Fitness the 2015 Running Store of the Year.

The store, opened in 2010 by Jon and Burke Beck, earned a spot on the coveted 50 Best Running Stores of America list for the fifth time and was named a finalist for the third time. Winners were announced in December at The Running Event trade show in Austin, Texas.
