2015 was a busy year on Oklahoma City's retail scene
Oklahoma City saw lots of big retail announcements in 2015, including a planned expansion of the Triangle at Classen Curve shopping center and construction of the Chisholm Creek development.
Next year could see even more big announcements from Chisholm Creek, which opened the state's first Cabela's store in September, as well as the state's first TopGolf. iFly, the Austin-based indoor skydiving chain will open its first Oklahoma City location at Chisholm Creek sometime in 2016.
The year will close without word on whether developer WP Glimcher's expansion plans for the Triangle at Classen Curve will include an REI store, as shown in preliminary drawings. REI has yet to confirm plans for an Oklahoma City location, and WP Glimcher has not released many details about the project.

The year also saw expansion in the Oklahoma City market from specialty grocer chains such as Sprouts and Natural Grocers.
Trader Joe's finally announced plans for a Nichols Hills location after years of speculation.
