Workers continue to prep the new Brickopolis building and surrounding canal area for business in this June, 2015 photo.

Brickopolis, a three-story complex that features a miniature golf course, laser tag, arcade, pizza and salad buffet, and a burger bar, is set to open Thursday in what is being promoted as a big boost to the district’s appeal to families.

The venue at 101 S Mickey Mantle Drive is the newest attraction to open along the Bricktown Canal and is next to the Bricktown Canal Water Taxi booth.

Developer Chris Johnson, who also owns USA Screen Printing, said he long sought to add some family fun to the area, which is also home to Harkins Theaters, RedPin Bowling and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
